چکیده

Background: we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to evaluate the efficacy exercise training on cardiac function circulating biomarkers outcomes among women with breast cancer (BC) receiving anthracycline or trastuzumab-containing therapy. Methods: PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web Science Scopus were searched. The primary outcome was change left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Secondary included diastolic function, strain imaging biomarkers. Results: Four RCTs included, those three during one trastuzumab, involving 161 patients. All provided absolute in LVEF (%) after short medium-term treatment exposure (≤6 months). Pooled data revealed no differences group versus control [mean difference (MD): 2.07%; 95% CI: −0.17 4.34]. Similar results observed by pooling from anthracycline. Data that implemented interventions ≥36 sessions (n = 3) showed significant effect preventing decline favoring (MD: 3.25%; 1.20 5.31). No changes secondary outcomes. Conclusions: appears have beneficial mitigating this for sessions.
